Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Frances, a San Francisco dog walker from Happy Hour Dog Walking and photographing one of her two daily sessions. Frances not only walks dogs but also pet sits. When she told me she had 7 dogs on this particular session I was pretty confused by how it all works. How could they possibly all get along with each other? How the heck do you even remember all their names or which owners house is theirs?! Ultimately with lots of dogs comes lots of driving (sitting in traffic during Giants season), lots of house keys, and of course the need for lots of poo baggies. I asked Frances to describe a bit about herself and here's what she had to say...
"After spending the first few years of my life convincing my family that I was in fact a German Shepherd...It came as no surprise that I would end up rescuing, training, and working with dogs as an adult. When I am not driving around in a car full of dogs, you might find me at the dog park or maybe in my apartment which is probably also full of dogs. I am grateful to have the opportunity to live the dream of my 5 year old self. It's amazing."
I met up with Frances and her gang at Mission Creek Dog Park which is down the street from AT&T Park, aka Giants Stadium and here's what happened...
